We should also be teaching our kids that people come in all shapes and sizes,. All were created by God; therefore, all are beautiful, regardless of if they measure up to society’s junk-standards of it. We should be teaching our children that it is not “shameful”, “disgusting”, or “sickening” to not be somebody else’s ideal body type. Let’s also teach our children that they should be much more concerned about a person’s trustworthiness, genuineness, kindness, etc, rather than their waist line. Our children should be taught that they are not to be the body police, because people these days struggle with self-image enough without a 7 year old judging them. We should teach our children that some people are happy with their bodies as they are, and do not feel compelled to drastically alter it because society wants them to. /rant
